MAY 18: “Arrangements made with All Greens”
In this class we will explore the many ways to create an arrangement without using flowers, but only green materials. There are so many different characteristics of green leaves, particularly when manipulating the shapes. Leaves can be twisted, cut, stapled, split, and their back sides used to create more contrast. Leaves have both line and mass, and isolating one of these elements can offer an entirely new way to utilize the leaves. Think about what kind of leaves you want to use, bring a container that will enable you to show off your concept, and think about where the finished arrangement will be displayed when you take it home. These are also elements of your design.
